I think that you're right and that's an interesting point - fear and confidence may as well be the things being traded in the open marketplace rather than money. At the moment, fear is proving quite popular. :)

And yes, the collective irrationalism of the world's financial markets is one of my pet topics.</description>

		<description>(I assume that the second website box is for comments)  It sounds very much like that Polemica article "Hand touching the Ass". I think the financial markets are not just running on money but on fear and confidence. In any case it would be better tomorrow.</description>
